This Sunday, May 1, after worship at our Murrayville church, we will be having a Soup & Bun Lunch, as a fundraiser for our Starfish Pack Program.
Earlier that day, during the 10:30 am worship service our guest speaker Scott Johnson, Principal of Wix-Brown Elementary School, will be talking about benefits to students from the Starfish Pack program.
The UCoL Starfish program has been going very well thanks to all your support. It has been expanded and now includes Blacklock Elementary School. The first backpacks were delivered there on March 31, 2016.
We are working with the schools and the Foundation in an effort to provide provisions for the students over the summer months. So, mark your calendars and plan to hear Scott and enjoy the Soup & Bun Lunch on May 1.
