Join the 2017 Walk for Reconciliation in Vancouver

with United Churches of Langley

The United Churches of Langley congregation will be joining the Reconciliation Langley and many United Churches in the Walk for Reconciliation in Vancouver, on September 24.

The Walk for Reconciliation is a positive movement to build better relationships among Indigenous peoples and all Canadians. This bold vision calls on everyone of all ages, all backgrounds, all cultures and all faiths to come together.

Now is the time to transform and renew relationships among Indigenous peoples and all Canadians. The act of walking and sharing our stories joins us in a continued commitment to create a new way forward for reconciliation. Join and support the spirit of ‘Namwayut - We are all one.' Together, let’s all walk for reconciliation!

The Walk follows a 2 km route from Cambie St. and Georgia St. to Strathcona Park, followed by a Reconciliation Expo, 10:30 am - 3:00 pm, featuring a series of Indigenous and multi-cultural performances and a keynote speech.

Email Rev. Hilde, hilde@ucol.ca BEFORE September 18 if you want to join this sacred walk with UCoL!
