A number of people have requested to become members or have their membership transferred over the last several months. If that is you, we likely have your name on a list, but please check in the office or Hilde so we do not miss anyone. Thank you. If you are thinking of membership, or would simply like to find out more about what that means, please speak to Hilde or Sophia, or sign up for the membership gatherings, learn some new things and decide later.

There are a variety of ways to be in relationship with this congregation. Presently we have four Worship opportunities, some people gather then. We have study groups, book groups, meetings, and times to gather over a meal, some folks participate in these. We have a large number of people that use the space we have at one location or the other, or both, and gather to do an assortment of things including Yoga, learning English, AA, counselling etc. These people may be 'doing their own thing', but they are a part of us none-the-less.

In and among all these participants are those of you who are members, adherents, supporters of the congregation and frequent visitors.  All are valuable relationships. HOWEVER... if you would like to become a formal member of the United Church of Canada... and live out that membership in this congregation... then this is especially for you.

We will be having formal (but fun) membership gatherings:

On Saturday, November 4, folks who are considering membership with United Churches of Langley are asked to join us for the Theological Banquet with Rev. Janet Gear. Click HERE for more details and to sign up TODAY!

On Sunday, November 19, we will be hosting a new member class after our Starfish fundraising luncheon. Please contact Hilde if you are interested in attending this afternoon gathering.

Our Holy Commitment Sunday, when new members will be received, will be December 3. Together we are God's people, in relationship with the Holy and each other... on a cosmic journey of justice and love.
