At 8:45 am, transportation will take all participants in the Walk from Fort Langley, back to the Trans-Canada Trail @ 88th Avenue, where the first part of the walk ended the previous day. From there we will start walking again at about 9:00 am, and we will make our way along the trail as far as the Matsqui Trail Picnic Area. Once again, there will be activities for young people along the way.
Today's route:
9:00 – 11:30 am ~ Trans Canada Trail @ 88th Avenue to Mt. Lehman Cemetery. Coffee will be available here.
12:00 – 1:00 pm ~ Mt. Lehman Cemetery to Mt. Lehman United Church, where the hot lunch will be provided for participants. We thank congregants of Mt. Lehman United Church for their generous hospitality!
2:00 – 3:30 pm ~ Mt. Lehman United Church to Matsqui Trail Park Picnic Area, under the Abbotsford-Mission Bridge, where we expect to arrive at approximately 3:30 pm. We will enjoy some snacks at the end of today's stretch of the Walk and transportation will take us back to Fort Langley from Matsqui Trail.
For Vancouver residents, free bus pickup at 8:00 am from the First Christian Reformed Church, 2670 Victoria Drive and return via Fort Langley after the walk.
