"Abba Father" is a phrase used in the New Testament when translated from Aramaic to refer to God as "Father" in a very intimate and personal way, similar to how a child would call their own father "Daddy" or "Papa." As we celebrate Father's Day and move with the worldwide church from the flames of Pentecost through the dance of the Trinity, we open up to new ways of relating to God the Father, Abba.
