It will be the only Yoga practice one needs at the start of the busiest season of the year.... RESTORATIVE YOGA.
Restorative Yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing. This style of yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance.
The participants, led by our Langara College Certified yoga teacher Denise Hay, will settle in, get synced with their breath, stretch out, relax deeply, reflect, meditate and walk away feeling rejuvenated on many levels.
Classes are taking place in Sharon Chapel at 21562 Old Yale Road in Langley.
