The 11th Annual Walk for Reconciliation in the Fraser Valley took place on May 29, 30 and 31. A group of the UCoL congregants took part.

We recognize that the Stó:lō people have called this place home since time immemorial, and we hope that our walk honoured them, their land, their river, their ancestors and their children.

We did two group walks: 2.5 km walk from Fort Langley Historic Site to Kwantlen First Nation and 1.5 km walk from Fraser River Heritage Park to the former site of St. Mary’s Residential School, led by Siya:m Patti Victor.

We also had three Indigenous-led learning events:
- Kwantlen First Nation Longhouse Dinner & Reconciliation Engagement
- Indigenous Cedar Weaving workshop led by Gracie Kelly
- The Reconciliation Journey... Moving Forward Together session
