United Churches of Langley has been offering yoga classes since February 2016. Our Yoga classes are lead by Langara College Certified yoga teacher, Denise Hay. She teaches Gentle Yoga - a relaxed, gentle practice for all levels of experience. Leaning on the restorative side, this class offers a focus on breathing, mindfulness, body alignment and deep relaxation. In this class, a chair can be used if needed. 

After a 2.5-month-long break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are thrilled that Yoga classes in the Chapel have resumed. 

Everyone's health and safety are the most important considerations at this time, so the Covid-19 Safety Plan is implemented to ensure the teacher's and students' safety. Each class is currently limited to 9 participants. There are changes in how the classes are run that attendees will need to know prior to attending, so participants must register IN ADVANCE with Denise.  

CURRENT SCHEDULE (as of September 28, 2020):

  • Mondays 6:15pm-7:30pm
  • Tuesdays 10:15am-11:30am
  • Thursdays 11:15am-12:30pm

All yoga classes are taking place in the Sharon Chapel at United Churches of Langley - Murrayville site, following this payment schedule:

  • Drop-in rate $15
  • 5 class pass $60
  • Free class pass when you bring a new student
