October 16, 2025, is World Food Day and the 80th Anniversary of The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), whose enduring mission is to end hunger and build resilient agrifood systems across the globe.
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, United Churches of Langley will host a Lunch & Learn after worship, with lunch of soup and a bun starting at 11:30 am. The following presentations by speakers from our various ministry partners in Langley and table discussions aim to help our congregants and community members better understand who is being affected by food insecurity in Langley, why, what’s being done, and how we can help.
